Affairs Media welcomes story ideas and opinion pieces that contribute to understanding political, economic, and strategic developments across countries and regions.

We are particularly interested in contributions that help explain structural change, policy developments, economic trends, or geopolitical dynamics to an international audience.

Technological innovation, digital infrastructure, research ecosystems, and emerging industries.
Geopolitics
International relations, regional power dynamics, and the global strategic environment.
Opinion and commentary
Well-argued perspectives from experts, practitioners, researchers, and observers with relevant experience or insight.
Interview proposals
Suggestions for interviews with policymakers, business leaders, academics, or other relevant voices.

Submission guidelines

Please follow these guidelines when submitting a pitch or article:

Send only original work that you have the right to publish and that is not under consideration elsewhere.
Briefly introduce yourself and explain your experience, expertise, or perspective related to the topic.
Opinion pieces typically range from 800–1,200 words and should include a clear argument supported by evidence or analysis.
Story ideas should be submitted as a short pitch (3–6 paragraphs) outlining the angle, why the story matters now, and potential sources.
Disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to individuals, companies, or organizations mentioned in your submission.
